This piece is dedicated to my grandma; the fabric, buckskin and beads were given to me by her. While creating this piece, I reminisced on memories of grandma’s room and the scent of buckskin lingering in the air while she beaded at her table. The composition depicts an abstract scene of a flower field with the sun setting on the horizon and the moon rising.
